Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I bought this Laptop with windows 10, but it is not working acceptable.

I wanted to go back to windows 7, but there was no recovery diisk.

May 16, 2016 - There is no recovery image available for my Optiplex 3020. How am I to create an image? May 1, 2016 - Windows 7 Home Premium X64 Oa X16 96072 Hit. Download Windows 7 SP1 Integrated ISO 32-bit Windows 7 Ultimate x86 SP1 (bootable).

The Laptop was delivered with windows 7; the former owner changed it to windows 10.
Win 10 ist not running acceptable. Acting very slowly; Update download not possible and no

recovery point.
The product key on the back is for windows 7
How to recover? (No recovery disk)

Usually, you could use original HP Recovery media but is one additional way (unofficial way).

You can use this free utility to download the OEM images for your machine

The tool will download ISO images from Microsoft and has lots of options for many Windows versions including OEM. If you use it, be careful to select the correct Windows ISO for the OEM / COEM, x86 or x64 edition, Home/Pro/Ultimate, etc...

Download is big. Ensure fast and stable Internet connection.
When download completes, you will need to write or 'burn' the ISO image and boot from a bootable media. You need to use either 1 empty/blank USB pendrive (4 GB capacity or more) OR an empty/blank DVD disc (4.7 GB capacity)

instructions are for Ubuntu, but you need to use the ISO image of Windows 7

When ready with the USB drive or with the DVD:

Please, shutdown the computer using the power button.

Insert the Windows USB thumdrive prepared previously

Power on the PC.

As soon as you press the power-on button, start hitting the Esc button repeatedly (like tap-tap-tap).

This should open a HP Startup Menu

Choose F9 to open Boot options. Select the USB thumb drive or the DVD as a boot option.

- Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows 7. Perform clean installation/custom installation (not repair).

Delete all existing partitions and install Windows on Disc 0 Unallocated space

- After successful Windows installation, install drivers taken from HP web site

After successful Windows 7 installation :

- Make sure Windows is Activated by going to Start > Control Panel > System

- Install an antivirus software on your computer to help protect against threats

- Update Windows - install the so called 'SP2' - convenience update. Here is how:

Only after that do other things and install other updates.

Today i tried to install windows 7 with the downloaded DVD.

I failed.

NO drivers found on Disk.

Do you have any idea what can be wrong?
